What is Fill’Print ?
Fill’Print is an innovative French start-up founded in 2019. We have developed a cost-effective, sustainable refilling solution for the ink cartridges market which we aim to deploy everywhere ink cartridges are sold in France, Europe and beyond.
Why did you create Fill’Print ?
Fill’Print was born out of our founders’ deep consternation. Inkjet technology has been around for 20 years, yet there are no functioning alternative to original brand cartridges in the market, and prices keep going up! Who today can afford to pay €3,000 per litter of ink, which is more expensive than gold or perfume? How is it possible that in the age of the circular economy, we cannot find an alternative that is both practical and eco-friendly?

Can my cartridge be refilled with Fill’Print?
Our machine can refill over 95% of inkjet cartridges (not toners!) available on the market, hence there is a good chance we will be able to refill yours. If you’d still like to make sure, have a look at the full list of supported cartridges here.
Will my refilled cartridge print out the same number of pages? Of similar printing quality?
We guarantee the quality of the cartridges refilled using the Fill’Print machine, both in terms of print quality and number of pages. We are so confident in the quality of our service that we offer cash refunds. Should you have the slightest problem with your refilled cartridge, simply bring it to your store’s service or welcome desk and ask for a refund.
My printer does not recognise my refilled cartridge. What shall I do?
It may happen that your cartridge is not properly inserted. Try taking out the unrecognized cartridge and putting it back on a few times. If it still doesn’t work, it could also be due to a dirty cartridge chip. Try wiping down the metal contact chip on the cartridge with a dry cloth to clean it and install the cartridge again. If the fault persists, please return the product directly to your store’s service desk and/or ask for a refund.
How many times can the Fill’Print machine refill my cartridge?
Our machine is designed to refill an inkjet cartridge between 5 and 10 times depending on the model, and will always check it is in good enough condition before refilling it. As the cartridge reaches the end of its lifecycle, the machine will let you know and suggest you buy a new one. Don’t forget to put the old one in the recycling bin!
White lines have appeared on my printouts. What shall I do?
If white lines have appeared on your printouts, it is most likely caused by clogged nozzles that aren’t dispensing ink properly. Launching a cleaning process (either via the printer’s interface or using the printer management system on your computer) is usually enough to fix the issue. If the fault persists, please return the product directly to your store’s service desk and/or ask for a refund.
My refilled cartridge is leaking. What shall I do?
It may (very) occasionally happen that we put slightly too much ink in the cartridge, resulting in a small leak. Don’t panic, it should be an easy fix! Put your refilled cartridge on a paper towel for a few minutes (no more than 15), then turn it upside down and wait for half an hour before using it safely. If the fault persists, please return the cartridge directly to your store’s service desk and/or ask for a refund.
How does is work?
Do I need to get my cartridge ready?
You don’t need to do anything with your empty cartridge (unless it is really dirty, in which case wiping it with a dry cloth is welcome), simply bring it to your local store, select the right reference on the touch screen and insert it in our machine, we take care of the rest!
How much does it cost?
We aim to offer a high quality service at an affordable cost. As such, we ask our retail partners to offer our refilling service at a maximum of half the price of a new cartridge. Our partners can choose to offer our service at an even lower price, which can explain differences between stores.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Once your cartridge is refilled, our machine will print out a receipt and you can pay at the cash register, using any of the payment methods accepted at your store.

Is refilling my ink cartridge really eco-friendly?
Inkjet cartridges are manufactured using plastic and highly polluting heavy metals such as platinum. It will need over a thousand years to decompose, while the ink residue contained inside can contaminate over 30 cubic feet if it isn’t properly treated. And all of this doesn’t account for the energy input required to manufacture them. We might as well make the most of our inkjet cartridges and refill them!
